Full Job Description

The Triage Support Worker will provide comprehensive service delivery of triaging referrals and reviewing diagnostic reports. There will also be other ad hoc administrative tasks and responsibilities.,

  • Use analytical skills to effectively and accurately summarise assessment and triage information from a variety of sources and extrapolate clinically relevant information.
  • To work through the information received to identify those cases that can be routinely allocated and those that are more complex and require additional clinical consideration prior to allocation.
  • To review diagnostic reports to ensure that they meet the minimum standards of assessment to be accepted into the ADHD Medication Service.
  • Managing own time effectively to ensure timely triage, allocation and throughput of cases.
  • Maintain accurate case records on Oakdales case management system, and to ensure that cases are tracked and monitored to ensure an efficient allocations process.
  • To be responsible for own workload under the direct support of the Triage Admin Lead.
  • Carry out other reasonable duties commensurate with the nature and level of the role.
