Time Commitment: Approximately quarterly Board meetings, quarterly Finance & Risk Committee meetings, plus reasonable preparation and ambassadorial responsibilities. This is an opportunity to use your financial leadership, strategic insight and sound judgement to help drive lasting change for women and girls experiencing multiple unmet needs. Working alongside a passionate and committed Board, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the organisation's financial health and helping it maximise its impact. We are looking for someone who combines strong financial understanding with a commitment to social justice and effective governance. You may be a finance leader, finance director, CFO, accountant, business leader or trustee with significant experience overseeing finances and organisational performance. What matters most is your ability to provide strategic financial oversight, constructive challenge and clear advice that supports strong decision-making. The organisation campaigns for systems and services to respond appropriately to women and girls experiencing multiple forms of disadvantage and works in partnership with members, policymakers and practitioners to create meaningful change. Its work is grounded in intersectionality, courage, credibility and solidarity with women and girls at the sharpest edge of adversity. The Opportunity As Treasurer, you will play a key leadership role on the Board, helping to ensure that the organisation remains financially resilient, effectively governed and able to deliver its mission. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing strategic oversight of financial performance and sustainability.
• Supporting effective financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Helping ensure that organisational risks are appropriately identified and managed.
• Chairing the Finance & Risk Committee.
• Supporting sound governance and trustee decision-making.
• Working closely with fellow trustees and the executive team to strengthen financial resilience and long-term impact.
• Acting as an ambassador for Agenda Alliance and its mission.
  
  Strong financial leadership and strategic thinking.
• Experience scrutinising financial performance, budgets, investments or organisational risk.
• The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial audiences.
• Sound judgement and a collaborative approach to leadership.
• An understanding of good governance and trustee responsibilities.
• A commitment to equity, inclusion and social justice.
