Full Job Description
This role is responsible for managing UK and international travel requirements across the group as well as assisting the finance team with cost control, accurate reporting, reconciliations, and day-to-day financial tasks,
- Arrange and book domestic and international travel for employees, including flights, accommodation and other travel related expenses.
- Collaborate with teams and department managers to understand travel needs, budgets, and corporate travel guidelines.
- Stay current on travel regulations, company travel policies, visa requirements, and health and safety protocols.
- Communicate with preferred suppliers (airlines, hotels, car rental companies) to secure corporate rates and facilitate smooth arrangements.
- Manage last-minute changes, cancellations, and travel emergencies, providing prompt support to travelling staff.
- Track and maintain accurate records of bookings and travel expenses using company-approved software and reporting systems.
- Support post-travel reporting, expense reconciliation, and respond to employee queries regarding travel experiences.
- Provide general support to the Accounting Department, assisting with financial processes and administrative tasks.
· Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact with employees at all levels. · Competence in travel management platforms, reservation systems, and office software. · Discretion in handling sensitive information and staff travel data. · Problem-solving skills and composure under pressure, especially during travel disruptions. · Up-to-date knowledge of travel destinations, suppliers, and corporate travel best practices. · Flexibility to respond to urgent travel needs outside standard working hours. · Prior experience organising business travel or in a similar internal role is advantageous.
