Trauma Nurse Coordinator

To ensure that patients admitted onto the orthopaedic trauma ward are appropriately assessed and to ensure that all pertinent test, specialist investigations and clerking are completed and available. Liaising and ensure these have been undertaken by all disciplines involved inpatient care.

Work as an independent practitioner supporting with management of patients withOrthopaedic needs whist requires inpatient care.

Facilitate and support the effective and efficient management of the trauma caseloadensuring operative and other interventions are undertaken in a safe and timely manner

Act as a clinical expert and professional resource of the multidisciplinary team with theTrust
