Transport Planner 

Pertemps have an excellent opportunity to work as a Transport planner within there expanding transport team for a large distribution centre based at the Gateway near Kegworth  

Working Hours / Shift Pattern
+ Monday to Friday+ 9am to 5:30pm
+ 37.5 hours per week
+ 1 hour lunch break
+ Start dates asap 

The successful Transport Planner Must Have - 
+ Previous experience in a fast paced Transport and Logistics Operation.
+ Be comfortable with Microsoft Excel
+ Strong communicator on email, phone and in person 

Your duties as a Transport Planner will include:

+ Track and coordinate shipments from the EU to UK.
+ Monitor vehicle and shipment movements using TMS systems.
+ Escalate critical operational issues and and implement recovery plans.
+ Work collaboratively with other Transport Planners and Customs team. 

 Hourly Pay is - 
+ £14.87 to £15 .38 per hour depending on experience
