Transport Planner

We are looking for a motivated and results-focused Transport Planner to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods across our network.,

• Plan efficient delivery routes based on distance, traffic, and deadlines
• Support and coordinate with drivers to ensure smooth daily operations
• Work with warehouse teams to manage load distribution and vehicle capacity
• Oversee vehicle utilisation and maintenance requirements
• Monitor deliveries and provide timely updates to customers
• Handle customer enquiries and maintain high service standards
• Optimise resources to reduce operational costs
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards
• Analyse performance data to identify improvements
• Collaborate with warehouse, drivers, and wider teams to maintain seamless operations
  
  Experience working in a busy transport operation
• Experience planning multi-drop groupage routes
• Knowledge of fleet operations and driver hours
• Flexibility with working hours and shift patterns
