Transport Planner

Job Description: As a Senior Transport Planner, you'll play a vital role in the day-to-day running of our transport operation, ensuring our fleet operates safely, efficiently and delivers the high standards of service our customers expect., The key elements of the role will include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring client queries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner to the satisfaction of the client.
• Using our vehicle tracking systems and in-house traffic management system to monitor and record key aspects of collections and deliveries.
• Being responsible for accurate data entry
• Transport Planning
• Communication with drivers and customers to ensure good customer service
  
  Background in transport or logistics
• Transport Planning experience
• Helpful and positive attitude
• Good teamwork skills
• Ability to use self-initiative
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Positive interaction with clients and internal teams
• Well organised with strong administrative skills
• Willing to learn new skills and accept new challenges.
• Accurate and have a good eye for detail
• Well organised and logistically minded
• Keyboard skills & office experience are essential, although full training will be provided on the relevant IT system
