Introduction
Working alongside and being mentored by our Group Fleet & Maintenance Manager & the wider Transport Team, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience across all aspects of fleet and transport operations, helping to keep our diverse fleet safe, compliant and operating efficiently.

What You'll Do
- Assisting with vehicle maintenance planning and scheduling
- Supporting fleet compliance, including MOTs, inspections and servicing
- Learning about transport legislation, operator licence compliance and industry best practice
- Assisting with defect reporting and repair management
- Liaising with drivers, workshops, suppliers and third-party service providers
- Maintaining accurate fleet records and documentation
- Supporting vehicle licensing, taxation and compliance administration
- Producing reports and analysing operational data
- Assisting with projects to improve fleet efficiency and performance
- Developing a strong understanding of transport operations and commercial vehicle maintenance
Training Outcome
- Level 3 Transport Operations Supervisor Apprenticeship
- Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence (Manager CPC)
- Practical experience managing fleet compliance, maintenance and transport operations within a successful national logistics business
