We are looking for a Transport Operations Administratorto join our team at Merville Barracks, Colchester, CO2 7UT, supporting the delivery of vital transport services to the MOD.This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a busy operational environment where no two days are the same. You will work closely with the Transport team, MOD personnel, and customers to ensure transport requests are managed efficiently, compliantly, and to the highest standards.WhatYou'll Do:As a Transport Operations Administrator, you will support the day-to-day coordination and administration of transport services across the
site. Your responsibilities will include:Coordinating transport bookings using the MOD Clarity booking system and internal helpdesk systemsAllocating vehicles from the core fleet and arranging hire vehicles where requiredValidating transport requests to ensure accuracy, authorisation, and entitlementLiaising with MOD customers, transport sections, and Sodexo transport teamsMaintaining accurate transport records and ensuring documentation is archived compliantlyAssisting with vehicle compliance, including maintenance and MOT bookingsMaintaining vehicle handover/takeover documentation and reporting any vehicle damageSupporting the management of fleet cleanliness, security, and key controlProducing reports and supporting contractual transport administration requirementsAnswering helpdesk queries and providing excellent customer supportSupporting the Transport Operations Supervisor and wider management team as requiredWhat You Bring:We're looking for someone with strong administration and
