Full Job Description

As a Transport Depot Supervisor,you'llbe a key part of ensuring our essential transport servicesoperatesafely and smoothly every day. Working closely with the Depot Manager, you'll help coordinate people, vehicles and depot activity, supporting frontlineteamsand maintaining high standards of compliance. You'll also have opportunities to step up and cover the Transport Depot Manager when required, offering valuable leadership experience and career development. WhatYou'llBe Doing

  • Supporting the safe and efficient daily operation of the transport depot
  • Coordinating staff rotas, vehicle scheduling and service delivery
  • Acting as a first point of escalation and covering the Depot Manager when needed
  • Maintaining accurate training, safeguarding, DBS, CPC and compliance records
  • Managing depot logistics including uniforms, stock and purchase orders
  • Providing day-to-day support to drivers, passenger assistants and transport colleagues
  • Contributing to continuous improvement across depot operations

    Experience in transport operations, logistics or depot administration
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience managing training, compliance or staff records
  • Confidence coordinating rotas and communicating with frontline teams
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and HR or finance systems
  • Understanding of safeguarding, health and safety and compliance requirements, Disability Confident
