Transport & Customer Service Operator

We are seeking an asertive and proactive individual to join our busy Traffic Office team at Turners Head Office in Newmarket. We are looking for people who will play a vital part in supporting our operations by coordinating collections, deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. • Monitor and manage collections and deliveries using vehicle tracking and traffic management systems
• Maintain accurate and timely data entry related to shipments
• Communicate effectively with drivers, depots, and customers to provide clear updates and resolve queries promptly
• Ensure client enquiries are handled professionally and efficiently
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to support smooth operational flow
• Support continuous improvement by learning new systems and processes
• For experienced candidates, potential to take on management responsibilities and help lead the team
  
  Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential

• Ability to work independently and use your own initiative
