Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a newly created role as Transport Admin Team Leader at Widnes to
oversee the execution of the Transport Admin Team and provide support/cover for the bulk planning and provide admin support to all areas of the transport team.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

-Ensure the Transport Admin team is suitably trained and supported to complete all daily tasks
-Provide admin support to the transport planning team
-Liaise with customer services/account managers/MDM to ensure the execution of all plans runs smoothly
-Liaise with operations and transport managers
-Provide holiday/sickness cover for the bulk planning
-Provide support/cover for the Transport Co-Ordinator particularly related to failed deliveries
-Provide support/cover for the fleet administrator particularly related to purchase orders

We Are Looking For

-Team lead/supervisory experience
-Attention to detail
-A hands on/practical approach
-Ideally, experience of working within a Transport team
-Good computer and communication skills
-Someone who works well in a team
