Full Job Description

  • Accurate data entry and maintenance of transport management systems.
  • Liaising with customers regarding delivery schedules, delivery updates and service enquiries.
  • Communicating with hauliers, drivers and third-party delivery networks to coordinate collections and deliveries.
  • Monitoring daily transport operations and tracking shipments through to completion.
  • Proactively notifying customers of delivery dates, times and any delays.
  • Investigating delivery failures, service issues and customer complaints, ensuring corrective actions are taken where required.
  • Uploading, retrieving and tracing Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation.
  • Preparing and issuing loader packs, manifests and delivery paperwork.
  • Creating and issuing delivery labels and shipping documentation.
  • Booking deliveries across multiple carrier and pallet network systems.
  • Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, collections and transport activity.
  • Escalating operational issues and delays to the relevant stakeholders.
