We’re currently recruiting for Transport Administrator Apprentice based at our customer site in Ilkeston, Derbyshire for our transport operations.

Accountabilities:
- Liaising with customers regarding delivery schedules, delivery updates and service enquiries
- Accurate data entry and maintenance of transport management systems
- Communicating with hauliers, drivers and third-party delivery networks to coordinate collections and deliveries
- Monitoring daily transport operations and tracking shipments through to completion
- Proactively notifying customers of delivery dates, times and any delays
- Investigating delivery failures, service issues and customer complaints, ensuring corrective actions are taken where required
- Uploading, retrieving and tracing Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation
- Preparing and issuing loader packs, manifests and delivery paperwork
