We’re currently recruiting for Transport Administrator Apprentice based at our customer site in Ilkeston, Derbyshire for our transport operations.

What You'll Do

Accountabilities:

  • Liaising with customers regarding delivery schedules, delivery updates and service enquiries
  • Accurate data entry and maintenance of transport management systems
  • Communicating with hauliers, drivers and third-party delivery networks to coordinate collections and deliveries
  • Monitoring daily transport operations and tracking shipments through to completion
  • Proactively notifying customers of delivery dates, times and any delays
  • Investigating delivery failures, service issues and customer complaints, ensuring corrective actions are taken where required
  • Uploading, retrieving and tracing Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation
  • Preparing and issuing loader packs, manifests and delivery paperwork

Working Arrangements

Working Week: Monday – Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm or 8:00am - 4:00pm.

Expected Duration: 1 Year 3 Months
