We are looking for a Transitions and Futures Officer to work alongside and in liaison with the wider Dorton College/Surrey VI Centre of Excellence team to plan and deliver transition and futures outcomes for students at the college including targeted outreach sessions or support as required. Some main duties of this role include:

• To plan and coordinate the transition process for all graduating Dorton students: to attend relevant annual reviews and take steps to initiate the transition process - this will involve chairing transition meetings, liaising with local authorities, care centres, employers and families.
• Create college guidelines for the student transition process and timeframes
• Work with the Futures Tutor to build up a catalogue of destinations, friendly employers, supported internships, supported living facilities, colleges and universities etc
• Understand the UCAS process and what benefits and supports are available to our students after graduation
  
  The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of A Levels or other relevant academic Level 3 qualifications.
