Transformation Director (FP&A)

Partner with the Senior Leadership team and Senior Finance Personnel to develop the methodology behind the setting and maintenance of budgets, and forecasts to support strategic objectives.Leading on the finances of all potential contract and grant applications that align with the charity's objectives.Provide financial analysis and insight to support strategic planning, investment decisions, and service development.Deliver high quality analysis of financial reports and performance.Monitor financial performance, highlight risks and opportunities and support corrective actionsSupport the development of pricing models and cost recovery strategies for commercial contractsWork closely with operational teams to track financial performance on volumetric based and act as a key finance business partner to service leadsCollaborate with the central charity finance team to ensure alignment on consolidated reporting and governanceContribute to organisational risk management through our approach to the
pricing of new contracts, particularly around funding volatility and service changes.Support long term financial sustainability by setting out an approach to scenario planning, in response to policy, funding and demand changes

Management of an FP&A function at a senior level which as part of a large or growing organisation.Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling and the implementation of systems to keep these relevantQualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or Equivalent) or finalist, ideally 5 years PQEUnderstanding of the regulatory framework for charities / social enterprises (SORP, Gift Aid, Restricted Funds)Understanding of public sector commissioning, including NHS, local authority etc
