Training and Communication Leader ITC

The Training & Communications Leader, ITC is responsible for establishing and leading the strategy for ITC learning, capability development, and communications. Reporting to the newly establish Senior Director - Program & Operations, ITC and working in partnership with the Central Compliance organization, this role serves as a strategic partner to ITC leadership, business leaders, and site stakeholders to strengthen organizational capability, promote accountability, and embed trade compliance into business operations and decision-making.,

• Establish and lead a comprehensive, risk-based ITC training and capability development strategy aligned with regulatory requirements, business priorities, and the organization's evolving compliance risk profile.
• Define the critical technical and functional capabilities required to build a high-performing ITC organization; assess capability gaps and establish targeted development strategies that strengthen technical proficiency, knowledge transfer, and organizational resilience.
• Lead the development of bespoke training strategies and learning solutions tailored to the unique operating environments, compliance risks, and capability needs of individual sites and business units.
• Partner with the Central Compliance organization to establish enterprise standards and governance for required ITC training, including assignment, completion, effectiveness (beyond completion metrics), and continuous improvement.
• Partner with the Extended Network Leader to establish development strategies that strengthen the effectiveness of individuals responsible for executing ITC requirements throughout the enterprise.
• Partner with ITC Risk Manager to leverage compliance data, risk insights, employee feedback, and emerging trends to inform training priorities, share lessons learned, and continuously strengthen organizational capability and compliance effectiveness.
• Establish and lead an integrated ITC communications strategy that drives awareness, engagement, accountability, and alignment with ITC priorities, while supporting organization transformation and adoption of new processes and ways of working.
• Establish governance, standards, and performance measures for training and communications, ensuring consistent execution and measurable improvements in organizational capability and compliance effectiveness.
  
  Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 10 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 12 years of professional experience
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in compliance training, learning and development, communications, international trade compliance, or a related discipline, Experience developing enterprise-wide learning or communications strategies within a complex global organization
• Proven strategic thinking with the ability to align learning, communications, and development strategies to regulatory requirements, business priorities, and long-term organizational goals.
• Experience developing risk-based and role-based learning programs that strengthen technical proficiency, knowledge transfer, and sustained organizational capability
• Strong program management, stakeholder management, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and drive measurable outcomes
• Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication capabilities including the ability to translate complex regulatory and technical concepts into clear, actionable messaging and learning solutions tailored for diverse audiences and levels of the organization
• Strong collaboration and change management skills, with the ability to influence across functions and support adoption of new processes and ways of working

The base pay range for this position is $155,000 - $206,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on October 25th, 2026.
