Landmarc Support Services are currently seeking to recruit a Training Area Operative (Main Towers Assistant) to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a key part in helping to maintain a safe, efficient, and sustainable environment for our Armed Forces to train. We are looking for someone enthusiastic about working in an outdoor environment, dedicated to supporting the Military. • Hours: Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 17:15, Friday 08:00 - 12:00

What You'll Do

• General & Grounds maintenance duties as required.


• General Opening Up Duties (Keys, Flags, Notices)


• Operation of basic IT Systems


• Face-to-face, Radio & Telephone Communication


• Management of Range Booking Procedures (Email, Telephone, Paper & Electronic Booking records)


• Recording basic information via IT and in written format


• Meteorological Observations (Full Training Given)


• General Range Safety Observation duties

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Ability to work as part of a team in a safety-critical environment


• An ability and willingness to learn new skills


• Good communication skills Face to Face, Telephone and Radio


• Competent in the taking in and recording verbally given information


• Basic IT skills


• Numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE and above)


• A valid Manual UK driving licence is essential to carry out the duties of this role

Desirable

• Experience in working as part of a team


• Experience in Meteorological Observations (desirable but not essential)


• Experience in Communication / Reception duties


• Experience in General & Grounds Maintenance duties
