Trainee Senior Wellbeing Practitioner (SWP)

We are seeking to recruit a qualified practitioner (EMHP/CWP) who is committed to the principles of CYP-PT. This role offers an opportunity for the post-holder to further progress their career into a senior practitioner role, extending the clinical skillset of CWPs and EMHPs by providing specialist training in a broader range of presentations. In addition to managing their own caseload, the candidate will be expected to provide supervision to CWPs and/or EMHPs for low-intensity interventions following training. The post-holder will work with young people from diverse backgrounds and should be committed to diversity and ensuring access to services for all.,

• Delivering evidence-based interventions to children and young people in education settings as part of early identification and intervention for children and young people with emotional and mental health needs.
• To provide advice, support and knowledge to children and their families in relation to appropriate resources for their emotional wellbeing needs.
• To take responsibility for liaising with practice leads and other practitioners in the team to support effective clinical governance, risk and safety protocols and best practice principles to support improvement alongside young-person centred care.
• To support development and delivery of psychoeducational workshops, webinars and groups for young people, parents/carers and school staff.
• To develop a coordinated response to children and young peoples mental health needs by working across agencies.
• Encourage co-production in furthering best practices.
• Strive for quality assurance in data returns for both qualitative and quantitative service evaluations.
• Provide supervision to CWPs and/or EMHPs (from the second year of the programme).
