Job Overview

Trainee Recruitment Consultant - London (Liverpool Street)
From Sales or Education to Recruitment with Purpose

If you've worked in sales, education, retail, or you're a recent graduate ready to take on your first full-time role, you already understand the value of building relationships, hitting targets, and delivering great results. What if you could use those skills to launch a meaningful career - with structure, progression, and no weekend work?

At Milk Education, we're not just filling jobs - we're shaping futures. We work in close partnership with schools and communities across the UK to drive real social change through education. We believe in performance with purpose and we're looking for people like you to help deliver it.

Driven. Disciplined. Ready to Make a Difference?

If you're fuelled by routine, focused on results, and motivated by purpose, you might be exactly who we're looking for.

What the role involves:

You'll begin by learning the foundations of recruitment - supporting experienced consultants in sourcing candidates, understanding school needs, and building strong relationships. Over time, you'll take ownership of your own desk, helping schools find the talent they need to thrive and building a successful career in the process.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Come from a background in sales, education, retail, or have recently graduated and are looking to build your career

  • Are used to high standards and people-first service

  • Bring discipline, resilience, and clear communication to everything you do

  • Want a Monday-Friday role with no late shifts or weekend hours

  • Are ambitious, coachable, and ready to build something long-term

What we offer:

  • £28,000 starting salary + monthly commission (high OTE potential)

  • Structured hours: Monday-Friday, 7:15am start (to align with school hours); later starts during school holidays

  • Hybrid working after probation (2-3 days WFH)

  • Full training from industry pros + fast, clear progression routes

  • Wellness package: online GP, mental health support, critical illness cover

  • Free mortgage & financial consultations
