Full Job Description

Quality Inspector, you will be trained to inspect precision aerospace components, ensuring they meet the required quality standards and customer specifications. You will work alongside an experienced quality team, developing your knowledge of inspection techniques, measuring equipment, engineering drawings and aerospace quality requirements. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a manufacturing or engineering background who wants to move into quality inspection and develop a career within the aerospace sector. Key Responsibilities Inspecting precision aerospace components to drawing and specification. Using verniers and other measuring equipment to check component dimensions. Learning to use a range of inspection and measuring equipment. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings. Carrying out visual and dimensional inspections. Identifying defects, discrepancies and quality issues. Ensuring components meet the required customer and aerospace standards. Recording inspection
results accurately. Working closely with production and quality teams to resolve any issues. Developing your knowledge of aerospace quality requirements and inspection processes. Maintaining a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail. Following company quality procedures and maintaining accurate records. About You This is a trainee opportunity , so previous experience as a Quality Inspector is not essential. You must have: Experience using verniers . A good eye for detail. An understanding of the importance of quality within an engineering or manufacturing environment. The ability to read and understand engineering drawings. A willingness to learn and develop your inspection skills. A methodical and accurate approach to your work. The ability to identify when something isn't right and raise quality concerns. A genuine interest in building a career within quality and aerospace. Previous experience within aerospace or precision engineering would be
