Full Job Description
The post holder will work within the service, whilst undertaking a programme of training at University of Birmingham partnered with Aston University, where they will progressively learn how to deliver low intensity interventions, at high volume, with patients with anxiety and depression. You will receive excellent support in the role including extensive clinical and caseload supervision., The post holder will work within the service, whilst undertaking a programme of training at University of Birmingham partnered with Aston University, where they will progressively learn how to deliver low intensity interventions, at high volume, with patients with anxiety and depression. You will receive excellent support in the role including extensive clinical and caseload supervision. You will offer a range of effective treatment and support available to people with common mental health problems such as depression and anxiety and extend this support to provide psychological intervention services to adults with an intellectual/learning disability who have concurrent common mental health problems. The post holder will split their time between university attendance and working in service, conducting assessments, and providing face to face and remote Low Intensity Interventions.
