Trainee HGV Driver / Loaders

Alliance Environmental Services Ltd are looking to recruit an HGV Driver / Loader who enjoys working as part of a team and possess a flexible attitude that will compliment the existing team. We are looking for people who will be committed to providing an effective frontline service to the residents of High Peak by providing an effective waste collection service in a courteous, safe and efficient manner in line with A.E.S's policies, procedures, risk assessments and safe working practices. As a professional Driver / Loader, you will assist in the provision of A.E.S's waste & recycling service by:

• Carrying out daily vehicle checks, reporting defects and cleaning your vehicle regularly.
• Providing an effective collection of waste using wheeled bins, sacks or other collection systems.
• Contribute to the completion of the service's allocated work by supervising your crew effectively and assisting with the waste collection.
• Ensure that missed collections are rectified, assisted collections are completed and bins are returned back in the correct location after emptying.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner following A.E.S's policies, procedures, risk assessments and safe working practices.

Then we have the perfect role for you!, Alliance Environmental Services Ltd are looking to recruit Loaders to our waste collection team aspirations to progress and train to be HGV Drivers. This training will be provided free of charge. This needs to be someone who enjoys working as part of a team and possess a flexible attitude that will compliment the existing team.
Class 2 licence (CAT C) HGV Training will be provided by the company and a Driver / Loader role is guaranteed upon successful completion of the training and the probationary period. A Full manual driving licence is required to be considered for this position. We are looking for people who will be committed to providing an effective frontline service by providing an outstanding waste collection service in a courteous, safe and efficient manner in line with A.E.S's policies, procedures, risk assessments and safe working practices. You will be required to work outdoors and exert ongoing physical effort to assist in the provision of A.E.S's waste & recycling service through undertaking the collection of waste using wheeled bins, boxes, sacks or other collection systems. You will also be required to work on Bank holidays. Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided. However it would be advantageous if applicants have previous experience of working on the highway and were aware of manual handing techniques as well as basic literacy and numeracy skills in order to complete round documentation and timesheets.,
