Trainee Health Care Support Worker

As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, relatives, carers, colleagues, and members of the multidisciplinary team, helping to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care. You will adapt your communication style to meet individual needs, recognising and overcoming barriers to communication while seeking guidance from registered professionals when required. You may support patients and families who are experiencing distress, anxiety, life-changing, or life-limiting circumstances, responding with empathy, professionalism, and respect. You will promptly report and escalate concerns, incidents, or changes in a patient's condition or behaviour to ensure appropriate assessment and intervention. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will contribute to the delivery of safe and effective care through accurate and timely communication. You will promote equality, diversity, dignity, and inclusion, respecting each individual's
customs, beliefs, values, and preferences while ensuring non-discriminatory care for all patients
