Trainee Estate Agent

House of Properties is an independent estate agency based in Uxbridge, specialising in residential sales, lettings and property management. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic, confident and reliable Trainee Estate Agent to join our team.

This is an opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the property industry, gain practical experience and learn the business from the ground up. You will work alongside an experienced team, gaining hands-on exposure to the different areas of estate agency, including property sales, lettings, property marketing and client relations. Starting with the fundamentals, you will gradually develop the knowledge, confidence and skills needed to progress into an estate agent role.

No previous estate agency experience is necessary. What matters most is your attitude, willingness to learn, communication skills and genuine interest in property. Full training and support will be provided.

What the Role Involves:

Your responsibilities will develop as you gain experience, but will initially include:

- Handling telephone and email enquiries from prospective tenants, buyers, landlords and sellers.

- Learning how to register applicants and understand their property requirements.

- Arranging and attending property viewings.

- Assisting with property valuations and market appraisals.

- Learning how to market properties across online portals, our website and social media.

- Preparing property descriptions and keeping property listings up to date.

- Supporting the sales and lettings team with day-to-day administration.

- Liaising with landlords, tenants, buyers, sellers and contractors.

- Learning about property transactions, tenancy processes and the conveyancing process.

- Building an understanding of the local property market and developing knowledge of the Uxbridge area.

- Providing a professional and helpful service to clients throughout their property journey.
