The post holder will be a valuable member of a successful electronic medical equipment (EME) team who will build on their basic skills and education to be able to perform electrical safety testing (EST) and some planned preventative maintenance (PPM) under the direction of the Deputy Head of Medical Engineering.We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and flexible Trainee Engineer to join a dynamic team of engineers providing a comprehensive repair, maintenance and service to a range of healthcare providers.The Trainee Engineer will have a good grounding in electrical and electronic systems. Full manufacturer training will be provided to enable the individuals to work independently, The role calls for someone from an Electronic Engineering background, and as such, the post holder will require knowledge across the range of technologies and services that fall under the responsibility of this post. The post holder will assist in the preventative maintenance and electrical safety testing of a range of medical devices to ensure the EME department is meeting its compliance and KPI targets
