• Diploma level criteria or equivalent experience
• Academic attainment with literacy and numeracy qualifications
• Experience of working with children and young poeple
• Experience of working with CYP with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, anxiety, mood disorders
• Experience of delivery of therapeutic support
• Knowledge of the education system, child development and mental health
• Excellent communication, time management skills with ability to manage a potentially distressing caseload, Relevant degree, teaching or Youth Mental Health training
• Experience of working with CYP and families in an education or healthcare setting
• Knowledge of policy and procedures in relation to mental health, safeguarding and mental health in education
• Proven commitment to continuing professional development
