Job Description


My Four Wheels is a 5-star rated driving school with 500 instructors teaching nationwide - and due to record learner demand, we're now recruiting new Trainee Driving Instructors across the UK. If you're looking for a career change with great earning potential, flexible working, and genuine job satisfaction, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for. No previous experience is required - we provide full training and ongoing support.


Why become a driving instructor with My Four Wheels?



  • Lesson rates typically average around £38 per hour

  • Earn up to £39k per year working 32 hours/week

  • Working 40 hours/week will earn an average of £50,000+

  • Work the hours you want - weekdays, evenings, weekends, part-time or full-time

  • Teach locally (typically within a 30-minute radius, covering 6-8 postcodes)

  • Dual-control car options available via partner providers

  • Start earning sooner - You can apply for a Trainee License after DVSA Part 2

  • Training fees can be paid back in full after 1 year (ask for details)

Training Program


You'll train through our new Training Academy, designed for complete beginners. Training combines online learning, live classroom support, and structured in-car coaching. We guide you through DVSA Parts 1, 2, and 3, and provide lesson plans, resources, and ongoing support to help you qualify with confidence.


DVSA Requirements



  • Hold a full UK driving licence for 3+ years

  • Have no more than 5 penalty points

  • Have no driving bans in the last 5 years
