On completion of training, prospects for permanent employment within Wales are excellent. For individuals with aptitude and commitment there are opportunities to progress through the career pathway to Consultant Clinical Scientist. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are motivated to pursue their career in Medical Physics within Wales.

The NHS in Wales is offering a salaried post-graduate training post for a high calibre science graduate who is passionate about science and its role in patient care in the field of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Physics. Please note that this post is open only to those who have been awarded or who are currently undertaking a recognised MSc in Medical Physicsor equivalent (e.g. PhD in MRI Physics).

The successful candidate will follow the Route 2 IPEM pathway which will lead to HCPC registration as a Clinical Scientist.
