Full Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of residential development projects-from initial planning through to detailed design and on-site delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with and support senior engineers in the design and management of residential schemes.,
- Assist in the preparation of engineering designs using AutoCAD and related software
- Support the production of detailed construction drawings and technical documentation
- Contribute to the design of residential layouts, including roads and drainage systems
- Work through established design procedures under the guidance of senior engineers
- Assist with project coordination, presentation, and management across multiple disciplines
- Gain exposure to site activities and support the delivery of projects during construction phases
- Dealing with site enquiries in an efficient and professional manner.
- Supporting the Design and Technical Team by recording and issuing documents as required and general file management.
- Assisting in the formulation of Health & Safety documentation.
- Assisting in the co-ordination of site remediation strategies.
- Dealing with utility companies to obtain supplies for our developments.
- Attending meetings that may be necessary in the performance of your duties.
- Complying with and upholding company policies and procedures.
- Undertaking any additional tasks as may reasonably be required from time to time.
- Maintaining all health and safety aspects including those associated with Covid-19. You'll be

- Educated to A Level standard or equivalent.
- GCSE grade 4 or above (or equivalent) in maths and science.
- Full driving licence
- Computer / IT literate with capability to use excel, Word and database packages.
- A genuine interest in civil engineering and residential development
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD (or willingness to learn)
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach
