Full Job Description
As an Inspector, you'll play a key role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of agricultural cargo movements across the supply chain. This is a varied, field-based role where no two days are the same. You will mainly be working outdoors across ports, terminals, and vessels. You will be:
- Travelling to ports, warehouses, and onboard vessels to carry out inspections
- Attending ships to inspect agricultural cargos and take representative samples
- Conducting quality and condition inspections of commodities such as grains, cereals, and other agricultural products
- Drawing and handling cargo samples in line with industry standards
- Recording inspection data and preparing accurate reports using SGS systems

- Physical resilience and adaptability
- Flexibility to work as part of a 24/7 operation
- Strong communication skills
- A full UK driving licence
