Full Job Description
We are looking for a full time ACP (Band 8a) / a trainee ACP (Band 7). This is an exciting post to support the day to day Stroke/ TIA Acute Services. If you are a forward thinking ACP or would like to be a trainee ACP this role may well be for you. Advanced Clinical Practitioner is required to support and manage the day to day management of Acute Stroke and TIA Patients. The ACP post holder should be qualified ACP at Masters level, the Trainee currently working towards there masters or willing to under take it., o Assume responsibility for the daily management of Stroke/TIA SDEC and acutestroke management at the front door as well as in-patient strokes.
o Take responsibility for Stroke/TIA service advanced practice caseload withminimal supervision from stroke senior medical colleagues.
o Demonstrate ongoing evidence of achieving capabilities at Masters level acrossthe 38 standards within the four pillars of Advanced Practice outlined in the MultiProfessional Framework for Advanced Practice (Clinical practice, Leadership and Management, Education, Research.)
UHD are investing, developing and transforming Trust services in line with the New Hospital Programme. As part of this, some services may move site this year or next, either temporarily or permanently. Recruiting Managers will be happy to answer any service-specific questions at interview.
If a role or service relocates as part of a planned move, excess mileage will not be reimbursed. Travel from home to the new work base will be classed as a normal commute. Any other changes will be managed under Trust or national terms and conditions.
