Trailer Technician / Fitters (Skilled and Trainees with relevant mechanical experience) - SPR Trailer Services is a trusted, full-service trailer maintenance and repair specialist providing comprehensive trailer servicing, MOT preparation, quay checks, and 24/7 roadside breakdown support. We're looking for both Skilled and Trainee Trailer Technicians / Fitters to join our well-established and respected team based in Felixstowe, Suffolk.Company benefits include:Competitive Salary: Skilled Trailer Technicians can expect a base salary of around £38,000 per annum depending on experience, with realistic on-target earnings of £45,000+Other benefits: Double time pay is offered for all non-rostered overtime, along with holiday pay calculated on average earnings, increased holiday entitlement with length of service, and an annual performance-related bonus.As a Trailer Technician / Fitter, you'll be responsible for:Carrying out on-site trailer servicing, maintenance, and breakdown support as

requiredPreparing trailers in the workshop for MOT inspections and compliance checksAttending roadside breakdowns and completing repairs or servicing at customer locationsPerforming trailer inspections, servicing, and repairs at the quaysideFollowing company procedures, safe systems of work, and Health & Safety regulationsWorking efficiently and professionally to deliver high-quality mechanical repairs and maintenanceA C+E licence would be an advantage (training can be provided if required)About you:As a Trailer Technician / Fitter, you'll bring relevant mechanical, vehicle maintenance, or engineering experience, ideally within trailers, HGVs, or commercial vehicles. Reliability, strong time management, and the ability to work under pressure are essential. A full UK driving licence is required.We also welcome Trainee Trailer Fitters or individuals looking to build a career in mechanical engineering or vehicle maintenance. With the right attitude and transferable skills, full training

and development will be provided.
