Join Our Team as a Traffic Management Operative!Are you ready to make a difference in your community? We're on the lookout for a Traffic Management Operative to join our dynamic highways maintenance team in Towcester. This is an incredible opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring the safety of work sites across the region!, Your ResponsibilitiesAs a Traffic Management Operative, you will work closely with dedicated maintenance teams, providing essential traffic management support for various projects. This hands-on role not only allows you to develop your skills but also contributes to the improvement of local road networks. Your daily tasks will include:
Completing traffic management risk assessments to ensure site safety
Reviewing and implementing traffic management arrangements for minor works
Supporting maintenance activities such as hand sweeping, cleaning, and litter picking
Loading, unloading, and handling materials and equipment safely
Collaborating with your team to deliver high-quality maintenance projects
Holds LANTRA Traffic Management qualifications at T1/M1 and T2/M2 levels
Brings hands-on experience from highway maintenance or a similar field
Has completed relevant SHE matrix training for the role
Is committed to working safely and prioritizes the well-being of colleagues and the public
Thrives in a team environment and enjoys contributing to shared success
