As a Trading Law and Compliance Paralegal, you will play a vital role in supporting our compliance and ethics programme, ensuring that we uphold the highest standards in our operations., The Trading Law and Compliance Paralegal/Advisor will provide critical support to the Compliance and Privacy Director, Boots and Head of Trading Law and Compliance within the in-house legal team at Boots. The role will help to drive a robust compliance and ethics program within Boots and the No7 Beauty Company. This role will also play a crucial role in helping Boots and the No7 Beauty Company to comply with applicable legal, regulatory and internal policy requirements. There will also be an opportunity to play a significant role in the provision of day-to-day trading law advice to key business stakeholders.,
- Support the compliance and ethics programme for Boots and No7 Beauty Company.
- Generate insightful compliance reports using Microsoft Power BI and Co-Pilot.
- Provide expert trading law advice, including the approval of marketing content.
- Assist in training and updates for cross-functional stakeholders on compliance matters.
- Facilitate the documentation of internal policy governance processes.
A keen interest in business governance and compliance processes. - Strong reporting and analytical skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and a structured work approach.
- Clear and effective communication skills, particularly with senior leaders.
- A collaborative team player who can also work independently.
- Attention to detail and a proactive, "can do" attitude. It would be great if you also have
- An undergraduate law degree or equivalent in consumer protection.
- Experience or interest in consumer protection law.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI and Co-Pilot for compliance reporting.
