Full Job Description

The post holder will have a demonstrable working knowledge of the aims and objectives of Integrated Care and NHS General Dental Practice. They will act as a point of support for Educational Supervisors and IC Dentists involved with the Integrated Care Programme and will contribute to training and delivery of educational programmes relevant to Integrated Care. The postholder will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as outstanding negotiation skills and the ability to motivate others. The postholder will have a demonstrable working knowledge of the aims and objectives of Integrated Care and NHS General Dental Practice. They will act as a point of support for Educational Supervisors and IC Dentists involved with the Dental Joint Training Scheme and will contribute to training and delivery of educational programmes relevant to DJT. The postholder will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as outstanding negotiation skills and the ability to motivate others. Additional GP01 responsibilities in accordance with the needs of the Postgraduate Dental Dean., The Training Programme Director for Integrated Care / Early Years is primarily responsible for the commissioning, provision of, and quality managing the Integrated Care Programme which includes many elements of Dental Early Years training. The TPD will be accountable to the Postgraduate Dental Dean under the direction of the Associate Postgraduate Dean for the discharge of his/her responsibilities. The TPD will be instrumental in developing the Integrated Care programme (ICP).
