Full Job Description
- Deliver engaging and informative guided tours to visitors.
- Embrace the idea of teamwork and contribute to the success of the attraction.
- Follow tour scripts and be open to coaching and feedback.
- Maintain high standards of presentation throughout the attraction.
- Provide outstanding customer service at all times.
- Ensure punctuality and readiness for all scheduled shifts.
- Report any incidents or concerns to the Duty/General Manager promptly.
The Royal Mint Experience is looking for enthusiastic and engaging Tour Guides to join the team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with people, delivering exceptional customer service, and bringing stories to life for visitors from across the UK and beyond., - Experienced in customer-facing roles, retail or hospitality environments.
- Energetic, enthusiastic and confident.
- Comfortable engaging with groups and speaking in public.
- Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
- Creative, proactive and adaptable.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Desirable
- Experience in amateur dramatics, acting or performance.
- Previous experience in tourism or visitor attractions.
- Experience managing groups and working to tight schedules.
- Ability to speak a foreign language.
- Awareness of health and safety practices.
- An interest in storytelling and history.
Hours will vary and will include weekends, evenings and school holidays on a rota basis and are 6 hours each. Opening hours are 09:30 - 16:30 Monday - Sunday and will extend over the Christmas period 08:30 - 20:30. Successful candidates must be flexible and available to work between Monday and Sunday. Minimum contracted hours: 6 hours per week.
