Tops Devonport Nursery is a 53-place day nursery and preschool located beside Devonport Park in Plymouth, providing Early Education and Care for children aged 3 months to preschool age. The nursery features three dedicated outdoor gardens for different age groups, creating inspiring spaces for children to explore and learn through play. Children enjoy a wide range of enrichment activities including cooking school, Boogie Mites, yoga, meditation, football fun, and more. With regular access to nearby parks and outdoor spaces, the nursery promotes curiosity, wellbeing, and confidence in a warm, nurturing environment.

What You'll Do

• Assist in providing a safe environment for children
• Assisting with daily, weekly and monthly checks around the nursery
• Assist in ensuring the unit is clean and tidy
• Assist in meal preparation
• Assist colleagues with developing and maintaining good relationships
• Taking children on trips out and assisting with picking them up from school
• Able to support children’s behaviour and act as a role model
• Support in ensuring the environment is stimulating and appropriate
