Full Job Description

To undertake a wide variety of tool servicing tasks within the workshop environment. Key Accountabilities:

  • Loading and unloading full/empty stillage's as and when required with the extrusion facility.
  • Segregation of waste through the correct waste streams
  • Support general extrusion activities as and when required.
  • Ensure supply of consumables to the extrusion lines.
  • Conduct pre shift safety and compliance checks on relevant equipment
  • Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards covering your job.
  • Ensure quality is achieved through attention to detail.
  • Work within a team Environment & Transfer the knowledge and skills among the team (others).
  • Maintain a very high level of housekeeping at all times in the workshop.
  • To look to improve working practices, systems and processes in the extrusion environment.
  • Maintain polite and good communication with your colleagues at all times, passing on relevant information as and when required.
  • Adhere to company policies, systems of work and procedures at all times.
  • Be prepared to undertake other reasonable duties as required.
  • Agree to complete training & Development requirements as determined by the technical extrusion manager / technical team manager
  • Safeguard property issued by the company. Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
  • Work positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel in order to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
  • Represent the organisation in a positive way as to avoid the damage of corporate image or bringing the company into disrepute.
  • Promote and Display the Epwin Core Values

    Basic level of numeracy and literacy.
  • Ability to use a PC to an operational level.
  • Good communication skills.

  • Combi lift & Counter balance license
