Full Job Description
To undertake a wide variety of tool servicing tasks within the workshop environment. Key Accountabilities:
- Loading and unloading full/empty stillage's as and when required with the extrusion facility.
- Segregation of waste through the correct waste streams
- Support general extrusion activities as and when required.
- Ensure supply of consumables to the extrusion lines.
- Conduct pre shift safety and compliance checks on relevant equipment
- Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards covering your job.
- Ensure quality is achieved through attention to detail.
- Work within a team Environment & Transfer the knowledge and skills among the team (others).
- Maintain a very high level of housekeeping at all times in the workshop.
- To look to improve working practices, systems and processes in the extrusion environment.
- Maintain polite and good communication with your colleagues at all times, passing on relevant information as and when required.
- Adhere to company policies, systems of work and procedures at all times.
- Be prepared to undertake other reasonable duties as required.
- Agree to complete training & Development requirements as determined by the technical extrusion manager / technical team manager
- Safeguard property issued by the company. Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
- Work positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel in order to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
- Represent the organisation in a positive way as to avoid the damage of corporate image or bringing the company into disrepute.
- Promote and Display the Epwin Core Values
Basic level of numeracy and literacy. - Ability to use a PC to an operational level.
