Ticket Taker / Door Host - Covent Garden, London - New Opening!

As a Ticket Taker / Door Host, you will be responsible for welcoming guests, checking tickets, managing admissions and ensuring a smooth arrival experience throughout every service and performance. Working closely with the Box Office, Floor Management and Security teams, you'll ensure guests are greeted warmly, queues are managed efficiently and all admissions are handled professionally. You'll become an ambassador for Blue Note London, creating an atmosphere that reflects the quality and prestige of the venue from the very first interaction.,

• Welcome every guest warmly, professionally and enthusiastically upon arrival.
• Scan and validate tickets using Ticketmaster and other ticketing systems.
• Assist guests with ticket enquiries and direct them to the Box Office where appropriate.
• Manage guest flow into the venue, ensuring admissions remain organised and efficient.
• Check identification where required and ensure compliance with licensing regulations.
• Monitor venue capacity and communicate effectively with management throughout service.
• Assist with VIP arrivals, guest lists, artist guests and special event admissions.
• Provide accurate information regarding seating, performance times, venue facilities and accessibility.
• Coordinate closely with the Security, Floor Management and Box Office teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Respond professionally to guest concerns or ticketing issues, escalating where appropriate.
• Maintain a calm and welcoming presence during busy arrival periods.
• Ensure entrance areas remain clean, organised and presentable throughout service.
• Assist with queue management during peak periods.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of daily events, performances and venue operations.
• Represent the Blue Note brand with professionalism, warmth and exceptional customer service at all times.
  
  We're looking for individuals who genuinely enjoy interacting with people and thrive in fast-paced guest-facing environments., Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, events or venue operations is preferred.
