Full Job Description

As our Thrive Practitioner, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Thrive provision, ensuring pupils receive high-quality, developmentally informed support. You'll work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, therapeutic colleagues and teaching staff to embed the Thrive Approach across the whole school.

Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering 1:1, small-group and whole-class Thrive sessions

Completing Thrive Online assessments and creating action plans

Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour and social development Modelling Thrive, PACE, Emotional Coaching and restorative practices

Providing therapeutic interventions in collaboration with the therapeutic team

Coaching and guiding staff to embed Thrive-aligned strategies across the school

We're looking for someone who is passionate about child development and committed to inclusive practice., GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)

Thrive Practitioner qualification (or willingness to complete)

HLTA Level 4 (or willingness to work towards)

Strong IT skills

Essential Experience

Experience supporting children with SEN, ASD, ADHD or SEMH needs

Understanding of safeguarding, KCSIE and child protection procedures

Experience delivering emotional, social or behavioural interventions

Knowledge of attachment theory and child development

Experience working in an educational or therapeutic setting

Ability to supervise groups and guide less experienced staff
