Experteer Overview In this role you will advance Darktrace's malware threat research by analyzing cyber threats and TTPs, and turning findings into actionable detections. You'll hunt for emerging threats, produce reports and publications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen threat intelligence. The position combines research, data-driven method development, and external presenting at conferences or events. You join a mission-driven team that values fast learning, ownership, and measurable impact in defending customers. Pay / Benefits

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of cyber threats, malware, and adversary TTPs Proactively hunt for emerging threats and identify new attack trends Produce high-quality threat intelligence reports, blogs, and publications Develop data-driven methodologies to support threat hunting and intelligence production Present research findings internally and externally at conferences and industry events Develop and refine threat detections based on research outcomes Use data visualization and analytical techniques to support investigations and communicate findings Collaborate with security researchers, analysts, and product teams to strengthen threat intelligence capabilities Tasks Background in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field Understanding of operating systems, networking concepts, system internals, and security fundamentals Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or C/C++ Experience analysing structured and unstructured datasets to generate insights Familiarity with malware analysis, threat intelligence, digital forensics, or reverse engineering techniques Strong understanding of modern cyber threats, malware trends, and attacker methodologies Key requirements 23 days' holiday + public holidays Birthday day off Private medical insurance Life insurance 4x base salary Salary sacrifice pension scheme Enhanced family leave
