Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic HCPC registered Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join our Integrated Therapy Team. The post holder will be responsible for the leadership and management of the Therapy Service within the in-patient bed based intermediate care service. They will lead and operationally manage a multidisciplinary team (MDT) of therapists, technical instructors and Health Care Therapy Assistants. He/she will be responsible for the delivery of patient rehabilitation and clinical care whilst ensuring clinical governance procedures and patient safety measures are in place. We require a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist who has excellent communication and leadership abilities, as well as a strong base of clinical skills. Good organisational, project management and problem solving skills are critical to this role. Candidates will be required to manage their own clinical caseload but also provide direction to the team. Experience of managing staff would also be advantageous. You would be part of a rewarding and caring service, committed to facilitating safe patient journeys of assessment, rehabilitation and discharge. There will also be opportunities to develop the team and service through staff training and engagement with other disciplines within the wider health and social care economy.
