Therapy Assistant - Children's ARFID Team

An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the delivery of the Children and Young People's ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder) Service across Cornwall. This role will support children and young people with speech, language and communication needs as part of the CYP-ARFID Multidisciplinary Team, working under the supervision of qualified Allied Health Professionals (AHPs).The post holder will assist with the delivery of interventions, advice, target setting and the development of resources and packages of care across home, education and community settings. If you do not currently work for one of these NHS organisations, your application will not be considered at this time., Support the development and delivery of pathways for children and young people presenting with ARFID. Independently manage a defined caseload, under supervision from CYP-ARFID AHPs. Deliver agreed interventions, advice and targets as directed by an ARFID AHP, evaluating outcomes and adapting interventions to meet individual needs.
