Therapies and Specialist Rehabilitation BU Professional Lead

You will support therapists at every stage of their career, creating opportunities for development, career progression and advanced practice within an inclusive and supportive environment., To provide professional and strategic leadership to all HCPC registered staff within the Therapies and Specialist Rehabilitation Business Unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe and patient-centred services. To lead professional governance and quality assurance across Therapy services , ensuring compliance with professional, regulatory and Trust standards, effective risk management and continuous improvement. Working in partnership with the General Manager and Director of Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) and Healthcare Scientists, to support the delivery of Business Unit, Divisional and Trust objectives through effective professional leadership, workforce development and service improvement. To contribute to the development and implementation of Business Unit and Divisional operational and strategic plans, ensuring professional, quality and workforce considerations are appropriately reflected. To act as a visible and credible professional leader, promoting evidence-based practice, research, innovation, education and professional development to enhance patient outcomes and staff experience. To provide expert professional advice to the Business Unit and contribute to Trust-wide professional leadership and service development in collaboration with the Director of AHPs and Healthcare Scientists. To develop effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery of local, regional, and national priorities.
