Job summary
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive team? The therapies booking centre within Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and well-motivated individual to join the team.
We are looking to appointment someone who embraces change and wants to develop a broad base of experience across the Therapies. This is a vital role within the Therapy Services Booking Centre and requires you to be a committed, motivated, organised, and a pro-active individual.
Working as part of a team, based you will need to possess and demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
This role requires experience in working in a administrative role. You will be required to be computer literate with experience of Microsoft systems such as Outlook, Word and Excel. A good working knowledge of the Health Boards IT systems including WelshPAS is desirable.
Main duties of the job
- To assist the booking administration team in the smooth running of the department which includes the operation of WPAS. Excellent communication skills together with the ability to work as part of a team and under the pressure of ongoing deadlines are essential requirements for this post. To organise and plan own daily workload.
- The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
