Those Huge Small Victories

At our organization, we believe in celebrating every small victory. Our clinicians find fulfillment in making even the tiniest positive changes in the lives of our young people. Join us in this rewarding journey!

Get Out What You Put In

This exciting role spans both Hall Cliffe School and Hall Cliffe Primary School, where you'll work four days a week. Here's what you can expect:

  • Hall Cliffe Primary School is an independent specialist day school in Wakefield, dedicated to providing high-quality education for boys and girls with special educational needs, including:

    • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties

    • Speech, language, and communication difficulties

    • Autism and ADHD

Hall Cliffe School also caters to a diverse group of pupils with complex learning needs, social and emotional difficulties, and challenging behaviors.

As a Therapies Assistant, you'll play a vital role in our integrated SEND model. You'll work closely with our Speech and Language Therapist and Occupational Therapist, supporting one-to-one and small group interventions while gathering essential information for high-quality assessments. Collaboration is key, as you'll liaise with parents, carers, colleagues, and partner agencies to create the best outcomes for our children and young people.

What We Do for You

We recognize your hard work and commitment, and we're here to reward you with an exceptional salary and benefits package. Here's what you can look forward to:

  • Training: Comprehensive induction and on-the-job training

  • Holiday: Enjoy school holidays, including bank holidays

  • Clinical Development: Access to a leading program for professional growth

  • Flexible Benefits: Tailor your benefits, including life insurance options

  • Wellbeing: A range of wellbeing tools and employee assistance

  • Medical Cover: Claim back costs for appointments like opticians or dentists

  • Beautiful Working Environments: Work in top-notch facilities

  • Recommend a Friend: Earn a £2,000 bonus for every successful referral

Bring Your Whole Self to Work

This is your chance to make a meaningful impact on young lives. You'll receive the support, resources, and platform needed to excel in your role. Here's what we're looking for:

  • At least 5 GCSEs (including English)

  • Experience working with children and young people with SEMH and/or SEN

  • Understanding of safeguarding rules and practices

  • A 'can do' attitude and a team player mentality
