Full Job Description

Our team of specialist palliative care Therapists (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics and Complementary Therapy) provide holistic and expert support to patients with progressive and life-limiting illness and those close to them. This role will be important in the daily management of clinical and non-clinical activities within the inpatient, outpatient and community setting.,

  • To support the Therapies Team, (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics and Complimentary Therapy) in the daily management of clinical and non-clinical activities within the In-Patient Unit (IPU), Outpatients, and the Community
  • The post holder will assist the Therapists to maintain a high standard of patient care by undertaking delegated clinical programmes of management, administrative and equipment duties to support the functioning of the department.
  • To assist therapists with patients treatment either jointly or to carry out treatment programmes following therapists assessment, this may include community visits.
  • To maintain a clean and tidy environment within clinical and non-clinical areas
  • To help with the purchase, maintenance, and safe storage of equipment
