This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Theatre Practitioner to join the Surgery Division in a key leadership role providing professional leadership through a strong visible presence in order to develop clinical practice and the provision of a safe, effective and high-quality care environment for patients.

The role will ensure patient care is delivered by an appropriately skilled and educated theatre workforce, through effective leadership and the maintenance of professional standards.

You will join a supportive and ambitious senior theatre team that values collaboration, continuous learning and shared success. Whether leading quality improvement initiatives, developing future leaders, strengthening governance processes, or celebrating excellence in patient care, you will play an important role in helping us achieve our vision of delivering outstanding care and creating high-performing teams across the division.

Provide professional leadership through a strong visible presence in order to develop clinical practice and the provision of a safe, effective and high-quality care environment for patients.

Ensure high quality, safe patient care is delivered by an appropriately skilled and educated workforce, through effective leadership by setting standards and performance monitoring of those standards.

Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure a high standard of quality care delivery including - safety , effectiveness and patient experience, learning from feedback.

Be responsible for the development and delivery of programmes of education that support workforce transformation within the Theatre department, including the implementation of new and advanced roles.
