Summary


Chelmsford Theatre has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join our collaborative technical team. We deliver an ever-evolving programme of national touring shows, local productions and a hugely popular pantomime, presenting high quality entertainment to Chelmsford.


We're seeking someone adaptable and dependable, with a commitment to technical excellence and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment. Experience across multiple technical disciplines is essential, including; lighting, sound, video, flying and stage management.


Applicants will need excellent communication and organisational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to problem-solve and prioritise effectively. Maintaining and promoting safe working practices.


This is a full-time position, 37 hours per week (annualised hours), including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.


Interviews are currently scheduled for the 15th and 16th September 2026.
